Adjungle.pk (“Adjungle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at https://adjungle.pk and the Adjungle mobile applications available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service, which is currently offered exclusively to users located in Pakistan.

By creating an account, posting an ad, browsing listings, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you directly give us when you use Adjungle, including:

Account Information: Your name, phone number, and (if applicable) email address when you register or sign in using phone number and OTP (One-Time Password) verification.
Profile Information: Optional details such as a profile photo, city/area, and display name.
Ad Listings: Any information you include when posting a classified ad, including the ad title, description, category, price, location, photos, and your contact phone number, which may be displayed publicly to other users browsing the Service.
Communications: Messages you send to other users through any in-app or on-site chat/inquiry feature, and any correspondence you send to our support team.
Customer Support Requests: Information you provide when you contact us for help, report an issue, or flag content.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

Device Information: Device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, IP address, mobile network information, and app version.
Usage Data: Pages or screens viewed, ads viewed or saved, search queries, time spent on the Service, and interaction patterns (e.g., taps, scrolls).
Log Data: Crash logs and diagnostic data to help us identify and fix technical issues.
Cookies and Similar Technologies (Website Only): We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on https://adjungle.pk to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit certain features such as staying signed in or using the shopping/posting cart features.

1.3 Permissions Collected via the Mobile App (iOS & Android)

The Adjungle mobile app requests the following device permissions. Each permission is optional unless stated otherwise, and you may decline or later revoke any permission through your device settings — though doing so may limit certain features as noted below.

Push Notifications	To notify you about new messages from buyers/sellers, replies to your ads, ad approval status, and important account or service updates.	You can still use the app fully; you simply will not receive real-time alerts and will need to check the app manually.

We do not access your camera, photo library, or location in the background without your knowledge, and we do not collect location or photo data for any purpose other than those described above.

1.4 Information from Third Parties

We may receive limited information from third-party services you choose to interact with, such as our SMS/OTP delivery provider (to verify your phone number) or analytics and crash-reporting providers (described in Section 4).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To create and manage your account and verify your identity via OTP.
To publish, display, and allow other users to view and respond to your ad listings.
To enable communication between buyers and sellers on the platform.
To personalize your experience, including showing relevant ads based on your city or search activity.
To send you service-related notifications (e.g., ad approved, new message received) and, where you have not opted out, occasional updates about new features or categories.
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, scams, fake listings, and other prohibited or illegal activity.
To respond to customer support requests and resolve disputes.
To analyze usage trends and improve the performance, design, and features of the Service.
To comply with applicable Pakistani laws and respond to lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities.

We do not use your information for any purpose incompatible with those listed above without first notifying you and, where required by law, obtaining your consent.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Publicly on the Platform: Information you include in an ad listing (such as your ad content, photos, city, and the contact number you choose to display) is visible to anyone browsing Adjungle, since classified ads are inherently public by design.
Service Providers: We share information with trusted third parties who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting providers, SMS/OTP verification services, analytics providers, and crash-reporting tools. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.
Legal and Safety Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by Pakistani law, court order, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Adjungle, our users, or the public, or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms of Service.
Business Transfers: If Adjungle is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a policy at least as protective.
With Your Consent: We may share information with third parties for any other purpose if you have given us your explicit consent to do so.

4. Analytics, Advertising, and Third-Party Services

We may use third-party analytics and crash-reporting tools (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar services) to help us understand how the Service is used and to diagnose technical problems. These providers may collect device identifiers, usage data, and crash logs as described in Section 1.2.

If Adjungle displays third-party advertisements within the app or website in the future, those ad providers may use cookies or device identifiers to deliver relevant ads. We will update this Privacy Policy before introducing any such advertising and will identify the relevant providers at that time.

We do not knowingly allow third parties to collect personal information from users for their own independent marketing purposes without disclosure in this policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and ad listings for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information for longer to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or prevent fraud.

Ad listings you choose to delete are removed from public view promptly, though residual copies may persist briefly in backup systems before being purged.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following choices regarding your information:

Access and Update: You can review and update your profile information and ad listings at any time through your account settings.
Delete Your Account: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us at contactus@adjungle.pk. We will process such requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to the retention exceptions described in Section 5.
Manage App Permissions: You can grant or revoke location, camera/photo, and notification permissions at any time through your device’s Settings menu (iOS: Settings > Adjungle; Android: Settings > Apps > Adjungle > Permissions).
Opt Out of Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or, where available, within the app’s notification preferences.
Marketing Communications: If we send promotional emails or SMS messages, you may opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those messages or by contacting us directly.

7. Children’s Privacy

Adjungle is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has created an account or provided us with personal information, please contact us at contactus@adjungle.pk so we can investigate and, if appropriate, delete the relevant information.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit (such as the use of HTTPS/SSL) and access controls on our internal systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and OTP codes confidential and should never share them with anyone.

9. International Data Transfers

Adjungle is intended for users located in Pakistan, and our Service is operated with Pakistani users in mind. Where our hosting providers, analytics services, or other service providers process data on servers located outside Pakistan, we take steps to ensure such providers apply protections consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app, website, or via email/SMS. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

11. App Store–Specific Disclosures

11.1 For Apple App Store Users (iOS)

In accordance with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines and privacy requirements, Adjungle discloses the following regarding data collection on iOS:

Data Linked to You: Phone number, user-generated content (ad listings, photos, messages), and approximate/precise location (if permission granted).
Data Used to Track You: Adjungle does not use your data to track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising purposes. We do not currently use third-party advertising tracking frameworks (e.g., the Advertising Identifier/IDFA for cross-app tracking).
Data Not Linked to You: Aggregated diagnostic and crash data used solely to improve app stability.

This disclosure corresponds to the “Privacy Nutrition Label” information we provide to Apple under App Store Connect and may be updated as our practices evolve.

11.2 For Google Play Store Users (Android)

In accordance with Google Play’s Data Safety requirements, Adjungle discloses the following regarding data collection on Android:

Data Collected: Phone number, approximate/precise location, photos, and app activity (as described in Sections 1.1–1.3 above).
Data Shared: We do not share personal data with third parties for their own advertising purposes. Data is shared only with service providers as described in Section 3.
Security Practices: Data is encrypted in transit. Users may request deletion of their data as described in Section 6.
Data Collection is Not Required: Most permissions (location, camera, notifications) are optional, and the app remains functional, with reduced convenience, if such permissions are declined.

This disclosure corresponds to the Data Safety section we provide to Google Play and may be updated as our practices evolve.

11.3 Account and Data Deletion

In compliance with both Apple and Google platform requirements, all users have the ability to request full account and data deletion. To request deletion, email contactus@adjungle.pk with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” along with your registered phone number. We will verify your request and complete deletion within a reasonable period, in accordance with Section 5 of this Policy.

12. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from or relating to this Privacy Policy or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
